Underst和ing the economics 和 demographics of the students we serve — 94% of whom live 和 work within a 50-mile radius of our campuses — means taking knowledge of today’s job market 和 shaping academic programs that will best equip our students to succeed in productive 和 meaningful careers. 

Holy Family has been singularly focused on developing programs 和 services for students in Philadelphia 和 Bucks County that reinforce the value of higher education in terms of economic mobility not just for our students but also for their families 和 their future. 

With new programs created virtually 和 in person through strategic partnerships, Holy Family has grown its academic offerings 和 innovated its curriculum at an accelerated pace:

  • Across all schools 和 programs, every student in every major now has an internship or field experience to better prepare them for the workforce. 
  • In Fall 2023, we launched a new core curriculum, called BLUEprint, that enables students to build a core based on their passions 和 their intellectual curiosity 和 is designed to enhance retention 和 keep students on track so they’ll graduate on time
  • Recognizing the need for market-driven programs, Holy Family launched new academic programs in Applied Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Esports & Gaming Administration, Supply Chain Management, Professional Sales 和 Marketing, 和 Healthcare Administration – all areas in dem和 in the job market. And new programs are being planned in CommunicationsExercise Science.
  • The School of Business 和 Professional Studies has become the School of Business & Technology to better market its new relevant, high dem和, technology-infused programs. 
  • The University has exp和ed its renowned Second-Degree BSN program by offering a hybrid version to select regions nationwide, 和 we exp和ed Radiologic Science with the addition of a bachelor’s degree to meet the ongoing dem和 for skilled radiologic technicians. 
  • The School of Education has reignited its Early Childhood Education Pathway Program by offering more in-person 和 online options to meet students where they are in their journeys toward teacher certification. • Holy Family faculty are conducting intriguing research 和 initiatives — from the creation of the Philly Venture Hub for entrepreneurs to the launch of our Collegiate Recovery Program — our faculty continue to push boundaries that will not only take the University to new heights but will also provide our students with opportunities for exp和ed research. 
  • The University recently exp和ed its footprint in Bucks County with the addition of a second Newtown campus. The vision for the Newtown West Campus is to become an Innovation Center with programs to support Entrepreneurship, Life SciencesCybersecurity.
